This article on Rivals.com has a story about a football team with some crazy formations and arrangements. I love the 2 QB lineup and making everyone eligible. Coaches that think out of the box are awesome. I loved seeing Florida’s Urban Meyer have crazy formations last year. Watching Arkansas lineup 2 RB’s in the backfield and no QB was great and who could forgot Boise State’s wide array of different formations. Coaches need to get creative, this shotgun formation every time not only is boring to watch, but isn’t fooling anyone. People say defense wins championships, and I will agree that is true a lot of the time. A well scripted, out of the box offense plan will also put a lot of points on the board. If you outscore the other team, don’t you win?
Here’s hoping Urban Meyer is seeing this and puts Teebow all over the place, oh wait, he already does. Go Gators. Bring on the 2009 NCAA Football season please, the Olympics Basketball isn’t going to cut it for me.
